Defensive tackle Marcus Hawkins from Freedom High School (Morganton, NC) has received an offer from East Carolina and it is his only offer. Hawkins, who is playing some defensive end this year, is also being recruited by some top schools in the country. Hawkins visited East Carolina in the spring and received an offer from the Pirates during the visit. He was able to talk to coaches about what his role may be on the team and Hawkins liked what he heard about the ECU football program.
