ECU Freshman Dedrick Hawkins is looking to start his college career off on the same path as his older brother, senior Josh Hawkins.
Josh Hawkins has held the reigns of being one of the top members of East Carolina’s defensive back core in recent years. Now as a senior, he has the chance to not only continue in that role but to mentor the younger players to take over his role once he graduates. One of those younger players may be his younger brother, Dedrick Hawkins. Dedrick has recently enrolled at ECU and is now going through the process of walking on to the team.
