East Carolina University gives Tulane University its first road victory since Nov. 26 2016, in a down-to-the wire overtime thriller, a slanted 31-24 win over the Pirates.
With the stadium looking scarce due to the cold weather, the true Pirate fans came to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium to watch their Pirate football team compete in a defensive battle.
Tulane (4-6, 2-5 AAC) methodically moved the ball down the field in its win over the Pirates. Quarterback Jonathan Banks for the Green Wave smoothly led his offense up and down the field, getting by with both his arm and his legs, scoring on their first drive of the game with a two-yard touchdown.
