As former college basketball players look and listen for their name to be called telling them they got drafted to the NBA G-League on Oct. 20, former East Carolina University center Jabari Craig found out he was picked by the Long Island Nets with the 22nd pick in the first round.
“The Saturday of draft day, I was up on my phone with my mom and grandma looking to see the (G League) draft,” Craig said in a written response. “As the names were being called out, I saw Kentrell Barkley’s name come up, shout out to him for doing his thing.
