ECU's happy pass-catchers

The football season at East Carolina has been shaped by a couple of backup quarterbacks now teaming up as a dynamic dual threat.

At week’s end, the 3-2 Pirates are headed to BYU, where they intend to keep using both Blake Kemp and James Summers, though it remains unclear who will start and how big a share of snaps each QB will get.

At the other end of the Pirate pass attack, however, the team’s always vast receiving corps must remain ready for either the left-handed Kemp (1,107 pass yards, eight touchdowns) or the right-handed Summers (255 rush yards, 276 pass yards, seven total TDs) at any time.
