ECU women’s tennis ready to face Richmond

"I am excited and I think it is going to be a good match for us, especially playing at home," junior Michelle Castro said. "Richmond is a good team so we are going to have to play well to get the win."

Last year's matchup against the Spiders ended in ECU’s favor, as the Pirates downed Richmond 4-2. ECU earned a shutout in the doubles point, as Castro paired up with Nicole LaDuca on court one and Dana Gray with Katie Hoch on court three, both beating their opponents 6-0, leaving the duo of Maria Gomez and Neena Wanko on court two unfinished.
