The East Carolina University women’s golf team scored it’s fourth top-10 finish of the season this week at the Briar’s Creek Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, placing eighth out of 17 teams.
The team was led by the play of sophomore Dorthea Forbrigd, whose three-round score of 218 (2-over par) was good for a T-14 finish out of 218 players.
The Pirates posted a team score of 892 (28-over par), and their eighth place finish improved the team’s overall record on the season. The tournament ended a busy month for the team, who have travelled all over to play matches from Wilmington, North Carolina all the way out to Puerto Rico.
