If there’s one thing people know about women’s college basketball, it’s that UConn is a dominant program and has one of the best, if not the best, dynasties in sports. The Huskies (20-0, 10-0 AAC) have won the last three national titles and have 10 overall. UConn has appeared in the last eight final fours and has made an appearance in every NCAA tournament since 1989. The Huskies’ last loss was back on November 17, 2014 in an overtime thriller against Stanford.
“You have to respect the team, the head coach. They’re the best team in the country,” ECU head coach Heather Macy said.
