“The meet on Friday night is a fully scored meet that obviously covers all the events and it was a concept that we came up with about two years ago and we wanted to get the big four involved, so Carolina, NC State, Duke and ourselves decided to score a track meet to kind of see who the best of the four were so we were excited about that,” said head coach Curt Kraft.
Contrary to other in state fans’ beliefs of their team being more deserving of being included in the “big four,” these four track teams were the most consistently solid teams in the state prior to picking the four.
