The Hokies, who’s men’s team entered this season ranked fourth nationally by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, placed top five in eight events last weekend.
The lucky draw of competing on their home track for two weeks in a row should give the Hokie track team an edge, but Pirate head coach Curt Kraft is not worried. In fact, the coach looks forward to the track and the opportunity to compete with such a solid team.
“We’re excited to go up there and see what we can do against ACC Competition,” said Kraft.
