On Wednesday, the East Carolina University men’s tennis team got back to its winning ways by defeating the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, 6-1 on the road.
ECU (12-4) entered Wednesday on a two-match losing streak suffering losses to the University of North Florida 3-4 on March 6, and the College of William and Mary 1-4 on Sunday. UNCG (4-9) on the other hand came into Wednesday off of a 6-1 victory against Presbyterian College on Sunday. The Pirates looked to snap their losing streak, while the Spartans looked to add to their winning streak.
ECU was able to jump out early in doubles play.
