East Carolina University’s baseball team improved to 4-0 last night after defeating Campbell University, 7-2, to remain undefeated on the season.
In the second inning, freshman catcher Seth Caddell started a two out rally in the second inning by hitting a double down the left field line, followed by a base hit to right field from junior outfielder Dwanya Williams-Sutton that. These two hits led to sophomore third baseman Dusty Baker hitting a two-run single for the first runs of the game and 2-0 lead.
Caddell tallied his first three-hit game of his career, going 3-for-5 at the plate with two runs scored.
