In its final home game of the season, the East Carolina University men’s tennis team was able to defeat Campbell University by a score of 4-2 at the River Birch Tennis Complex at home.
At 80 degrees and sunny, one could not have asked for a more fitting scene for Senior Day as the ECU Pirates (14-5) took on the Campbell University Camels (14-5).
With four seniors set to graduate at the conclusion of this year, the Pirates wasted little time in jumping to an advantage over the Camels. In the first doubles match, sophomore Wisse Jonker and junior Javier Renones teamed up for a 6-2 victory.
