East Carolina Athletics have been selected as a finalist for the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Community Service Award. This is ECU’s second time being named a finalist in a three year span.
The overall winner of the award will win $10,000 for the charity of the program’s choosing, along with a trophy that institution can permanently display. The two runner-ups will win $5,000 for a charity of the program’s choosing.
“On behalf of East Carolina University and our athletics department, we are extremely thankful to NACDA and the Fiesta Bowl for recognizing us as a finalist for the 2019 community service award,” ECU Director of Athletics John Gilbert said.
