Senior defensive back Josh Hawkins said after Saturday’s East Carolina football scrimmage at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium that the offense showed some different looks this time.
For veteran defensive coordinator Rick Smith, that was a good thing.
The offense displayed more punch this week after last Saturday’s scrimmage was dominated by defensive highlights, but Smith said he still was pleased overall with his unit, and that there was plenty for he and the other defensive coaches to take away from Saturday’s action.
