A little over a week into preseason camp, today the East Carolina University football team used its eighth practice as preparation for the first intra-squad scrimmage of camp, scheduled for tomorrow.
Friday's practice was originally planned to be held in the morning but heavy rain forced the team to adjust its schedule. Instead, head coach Scottie Montgomery and the Pirates conducted a walk-through indoors during the time initially intended for practice, before heading to the field later in the afternoon.
