The East Carolina University women’s lacrosse team took it to Saint Francis University on Sunday to get a 16-8 win at home in Johnson Stadium. ECU has won three straight games for the first time in the two years the team has been around.
“Overall, I thought we had a great team win,” head coach Amanda Barnes-Moore said in a press release. “I thought this was the most complete game that we have played, from top to bottom and from start to finish, so far this season which was a goal coming into this game.”
Just like their last game against Delaware State University (0-1), the Pirates (5-1) took an early lead, thanks to sophomore attacker Brittany Borchers scoring the first two goals.
