“I thought we were much more physical and engaged in the second half,” said ECU head coach Jeff Lebo on Pirates IMG Sports Network after the game. “We
got to be able to put two halves together in order to beat good teams.”
Kentrell Barkley led the Pirate spotlight by leading the team in scoring with 20 points, with B.J. Tyson chipping in 15 points and Andre Washington with 10 to cap off all of the Pirates double figure scorers.
ECU’s bright spot of the night was Barkley, who posted a double-double with the 20 points and 11 rebounds.
