East Carolina University and Boise State University have agreed to a home-and-home football series, according to ECU Athletics.
The series will kick off with the Broncos hosting the first game of the series on the blue turf of Albertsons Stadium on Sept. 12, 2026. The game hosted by the Pirates at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium will come on Sept. 9, 2028.
Despite ECU’s recent woes, the two teams are typically atop the non-power-five landscape and have participated in a combined 17 bowl games since their first meeting in 2007. The Pirates and Broncos met during the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii.
