ECU came up just short of a trip to the College World Series in Omaha last year as the Pirates won Game One of the series before dropping Games Two and Three to lose the series. The players that spoke at media day all said the super regional loss at Texas Tech was a learning experience and something they will draw on for motivation throughout the season.
