The schedule includes 21 games between eight different teams that advanced to the 2016 NCAA Regionals last spring, as well as eight games against teams that finished ranked in the national polls.
The Pirates are set to open their season at Southeastern Conference member Ole Miss Feb. 17-19. ECU has also scheduled several matchups with in-state opponents, including home games against UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Wilmington, North Carolina, NC State and Duke.
“We are very excited about our 2017 schedule,” ECU head coach Cliff Godwin said. “We will be tested both at home and on the road during non-conference play.
