The East Carolina University Pirates baseball team will begin its 2019 season with a three-game set against the Radford University Highlanders at Clark-LeClair Stadium. First pitch for Friday’s game will be at 4 p.m., 2 p.m. for Saturday and 1 p.m. for Sunday’s contest.
It’s always easier to block out outside distractions when a team is winning. Fortunately for the ECU baseball team and head coach Cliff Godwin, that is exactly what the Pirates have been doing throughout the last handful of seasons.
Returning from a team that won 44 games last season, the Pirates will field one of the more experienced line-ups in the American Athletic Conference.
