East Carolina University’s baseball team beat the University of North Carolina at Wilmington 9-1 on Tuesday night during a weekday game in Wilmington, North Carolina for its third straight win. The Pirates will now head to Los Angeles, California to take on No. 1 ranked UCLA (24-6, 9-3 PAC 12) in a battle of top 10 teams.
The Pirates (25-7, 8-1 AAC) have played incredible baseball throughout the last couple of weeks, going 13-1 in their last 14 games. They have also risen to No. 8 nationally.
UCLA currently has a three game winning streak going on and are dangerous both at home and on the road.
