The East Carolina University baseball team beat Duke University 6-1 last night to get its 10th straight win, which has become one of the longest win streaks in the country right now.
The No. 11 ranked Pirates (22-6, 6-0 AAC) are coming off of three weekend series sweeps, two being American Athletic Conference series, including their last one against the University of South Florida on a trip to Tampa, Florida. With this win against the Blue Devils (14-15, 3-9 ACC), the Pirates move to a 15-3 record at home during their first 18 games of the season.
The Blue Devils played an exhibition game Tuesday against the Durham Bulls at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
