Morris has been the coach of the women’s tennis team for over 15 years, and for many years, he coached both of the school’s tennis programs. Morris is the university’s all-time leader in wins on the women’s side and Morris is a 2010 North Carolina Tennis Hall-of Fame inductee.
Morris has had success as player and coach, however, he has stumbled over the past few seasons. According to the coach, though, it’s all a part of his plan.
Morris previously had four straight seasons with 15 or more wins, but he now has a streak of four seasons with 12 wins or less.
