East Carolina University’s women's basketball earns fifth straight win against NCCU

Senior center, Thais Oliveira, led the way with 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field.

The East Carolina University women's basketball team took down North Carolina Central University 73-61 today inside Minges Coliseum.

The Pirates’ win over the Eagles marks ECU’s fifth win in a row and sixth overall. This fifth win in a row ties the longest streak since the Pirates began the 2015-16 season with a five game win streak.

The Pirates’ senior center, Thais Oliveira, led the way yet again with a total of 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field.
