As expected, the St. Louis Cardinals offered 2016 contracts to four of their five remaining arbitration-eligible players - Matt Adams, Brandon Moss, Trevor Rosenthal and Seth Maness by the Wednesday midnight EST deadline.
However, via the same process, Steve Cishek’s time as a St. Louis Cardinal ended at just over four months in duration. Though not arbitration-eligible, catcher Cody Stanley was not offered a 2016 contract, as well.

Cishek, 29, acquired by St.
