So Pat Forde called Slavko Duric, the agent/hustler whose name came up in the most recent court filings by Gina Ford’s attorneys.
If you don’t recall, there is an allegation that Zion Williamson’s father took $400,000 before Williamson came to Duke. However, the documents were highly questionable, including Williamson’s weight and height transposed and his hometown listed as Darlington, rather than Spartanburg.
Duric told Forde he had no idea what happened: “I’ve been the victim of a con job by somebody acting like they were in the inner circle [with Williamson]. I have never spoken to Zion Williamson, and anybody who purported themselves as being a member of Zion’s inner circle was an impostor.
