While Zion Williamson’s former teammate Cam Reddish signed a multi-year deal with Nike, the 2019 #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft has still not decided which company he will join.
Many, including the legendary Sonny Vaccaro, believe Williamson will sign a deal worth over $100 million. That would be a record contract for a rookie as LeBron James signed for $90 million out of high school.
Nike seemed to be in the lead to land Williamson but TMZ is reporting that Puma is making a huge push to sign him.
Puma made a splash last season by signing the top two picks in the NBA Draft in DeAndre Ayton and former Blue Devil Marvin Bagley III.
