It’s not official yet, but it looks like Zion Williamson may be the cover for NBA2K21. The trailer has been released and it’s apparently all Zion so it stands to reason that he’ll be the guy. There are other strong candidates though including Giannis Antetokounmpo, so we’ll have to see what happens. Still, it seems likely, and it’s extraordinary.
First, he’s still 19 although he turns 20 in 12 days, and second, he’s only played in 19 games.
It speaks to his star power, both on and off the court. It’s just remarkable that a guy so young and barely having his feet wet is such a draw.
