To whoever created the saying, ‘You can’t win them all,’ clearly never envisioned the greatness of Zion Williamson.
Williamson won the ESPY for the Best College Athlete, on the heels of being named the ACC Male Athlete of the Year and winning every National Player of the Year Award for the 2018-19 season in addition to being the ACC Player of the Year.
Zion also was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans.
The former Blue Devil beat out Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray, Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu, and UCLA’s Rachel Garcia.
