Both Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett are on the Wooden Award’s Late Season Top 20 Watch List.
Williamson is generally seen as one of the favorites, if not the favorite, for Player of the Year awards but Barrett is no slouch. He’s having a phenomenal year and would also be a worthy winner.
The nice thing about both of them is that you get the sense that they’d each be thrilled if the other won it as much as if they won it themselves. That’s how you get great chemistry.
