DURHAM – Coming off an 11-point weekend, Duke graduate attackman Josh Zawada has been named the ACC Men's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Player of the Week. This is Zawada's first ACC weekly award and the fifth conference weekly honor of his career.
In a 1-1 weekend for the Blue Devils, Zawada finished the weekend with six goals and five assists for 11 points. His six goals came from just 10 shots, including four on only five attempts against Princeton.
On Friday against No. 17 Penn, the native of Raleigh, N.C., paced the Duke offense with two goals and three assists in a narrow 14-12 setback to the Quakers.
