And they were playing great for most of the year.
Take this trip to Arkansas. Nolan Richardson had built the Razorbacks into a truly great program and they were prepared to give Vegas a tremendous game, which they in fact did do.
But this was in February 1991, and UNLV was just about at the peak of its greatness. They had Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon, Greg Anthony and Anderson Hunt.
