When he was in college and known as Lew Alcindor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and UCLA lost one game in three years (four if you count the freshman team that beat everyone it played including UCLA’s varsity).

That was a 71-69 loss to Elvin Hayes and Houston, a loss that UCLA was determined to avenge in the Final Four.

Boy did they.
