Draymond Green is one of our favorite basketball players. We loved him at Michigan State and couldn’t understand why he fell so far when he was drafted.
Golden State took him in the second round of the 2012 draft with the 35th pick. Among the players taken ahead of him: Terrence Ross, Austin Rivers, Kendall Marshall, Andrew Nicholson, Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo.
He’s a wonderful player and competitor.
That said, he can be a little over the top and NBA referees know it. So when he got a technical in Thursday’s game against RJ Barrett and the New York Knicks, it wasn’t a big surprise.
