We’re referring to Maryland’s last trip to Cameron. Duke seemed to be in control but the Terps made a dramatic late rally and when Charles Mitchell’s shot rolled off the rim, Duke survived 69-67.
Maryland’s hope of taking Duke to overtime and getting one last win fell short by a fraction of an Inch as Mitchell collapsed to the floor.
Not long after, Florida State knocked them out of the ACC Tournament and Maryland’s time in the ACC was done.
