Arguably, the greatest years in ACC history were in the 1980s. UNC had James Worthy, Michael Jordan and Brad Daugherty and won the NCAA championship in 1982. NC State had Jim Valvano and won the 1983 NCAA championship. Georgia Tech was in the glory years of the Bobby Cremins era. Duke was getting started on Mike Krzyzewski’s epic run. And Maryland had Len Bias.
In this game, Georgia Tech, with Bruce Dalyrymple, John Salley and Mark Price, take on Len Bias, Keith Gatlin and Maryland.
It’s fun to look back at this and see these guys play.
