As regular readers know we consider the pass to be the greatest art form in basketball. There haven’t been that many prodigies in the history of the game really, guys who can see things that most people can’t conceive of and then put the ball where it needs to be in a way that defies imagination.

When you watch this video, you’ll see a kid who could put the ball anywhere he wanted. He was simply a brilliant point guard. He was the 1973-74 NBA Rookie of the Year.
