Pete Maravich, who played high school ball at Raleigh’s Broughton High, was deservedly seen as a legend.
He did things that had rarely been seen in basketball and did them on the biggest stage possible.
Maravich could throw behind the back bounce passes for layups. He was an absolutely surreal passer.
But he was also wildly gifted on offense and could score like no one else.
