Bobby Hurley may be the toughest basketball player we’ve ever seen. Just 6-0 and 165, Hurley was often a target in his first two seasons of both fans and opponents.
At some point, we think after his freshman year but it might have been during, Coach K put together a tape to show Hurley how he was responding.
He learned from it and guys like King Rice lost the ability to emotionally knock him out of a game.
This clip is from 1993, his senior year. The sequence starts with him at the line, then guarding Drew Barry on the inbounds.
