Being a weatherman might seem like a fairly simple job: you get the script, point to the screen and call it out.
Of course it’s not that easy. Modern weathermen have to know a tremendous amount of science and how to read some fairly sophisticated information.
And on occasion just getting names right.
Take this Welsh name Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, which means St Mary’s church of the pool of the white hazels over against the pool of St Tysilio Gogo.
This weatherman had a chance to really blow this name (who wouldn’t?). Instead, it just rolls off his tongue.
