DURHAM, N.C. – Riding a nine-match winning streak, the Duke women's soccer team moved to No. 1 nationally Tuesday in the United Soccer Coaches nationally rankings.
It marks the first time under Blue Devil head coach Robbie Church that Duke has been tabbed No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches poll. Overall, it is the second time in school history the Blue Devils have been ranked No. 1 with the other coming in 1992.
Duke was also No. 1 in the Soccer America poll back in 2012 for two weeks under Church.
