DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's lacrosse team was 6-3 overall and 1-1 in ACC play when spring sports were suspended due to COVID-19 concerns. The Blue Devils put together a promising first half of the season, being one of the top teams in the country in multiple statistical categories.
Duke's 2020 season featured multiple milestones, including head coach Kerstin Kimel's and the programs 300th career wins versus Gardner-Webb and Virginia, respectively. Kimel's squad featured a balance attack, being the only ACC team to have eight double-digit goal scorers and one of two teams to have five players with seven or more caused turnovers.
