DURHAM, N.C. – Head coach Kerstin Kimel and the Duke women’s lacrosse team welcomed 11 student-athletes to the program ahead of the 2019 campaign. Midfielder Veronica Hineman joins the Blue Devils from Unionville High School in Pennsylvania.
A native of West Chester, Pa., Hineman garnered All-America distinction from US Lacrosse as a senior after guiding Unionville to league and state titles. She totaled 162 draw controls in her final season and rounded out her career with 139 goals, 61 assists and 320 draw controls. Hineman was a three-time all-league selection, receiving first team honors as a junior and senior.
