DURHAM, N.C. – With the school year underway, the Duke women’s lacrosse program shines the spotlight on freshman midfielder , who joins the Blue Devils from Glenwood, Md.
Callahan rounded out her high school career with a number of accolades, earning Player of the Year distinction from the Howard County Times/Columbia Flier and the Washington Post. She was also tabbed the Brine/US Lacrosse High School Girls’ Mid-Atlantic Player of the Year as a senior after leading Glenelg to a third consecutive state title. Individually, she totaled 58 goals and 34 assists in her final high school campaign.
