WASHINGTON, D.C. – Student-athletes and staff of the Duke women's golf program traveled to Washington D.C., this past week to be honored for NCAA Champions Day at the White House.
"It's great to be able to reward these players with a trip to the White House," said Duke head coach Dan Brooks. "It's a pretty special thing."
The Blue Devils arrived in Washington, D.C., Thursday afternoon and toured the National Mall before meeting Duke women's basketball alumna Sue Gordon, who helped secure a private tour of the Spy Museum.
