DURHAM – Redshirt sophomore punter Porter Wilson has been named to the Ray Guy Award watch list, awarded to the top collegiate punter each year.
Wilson was a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award in 2020.
A native of Fairlawn, Ohio, Wilson concluded the 2020 season earning Second Team Freshman All-America nods from The Athletic in addition to Academic All-ACC honors.
Wilson started all 11 games for Duke last season, totaling 53 punts for 2,276 yards (42.94). He ranked eighth in the league in punting average and had 21 kicks downed inside the opponent 20-yard line to just two touchbacks.
