DURHAM, N.C. – For the second time this season, Duke freshman forward Zion Williamson has swept the weekly ACC awards, earning both Player and Freshman of the Week after averaging 29.5 points last week for No. 1 Duke
Along with games of 27 and 32 points, Williamson averaged 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in victories over No. 16 Louisville and NC State. In Tuesday’s comeback win at the Cardinals, the freshman posted his 10th double-double with 27 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. He followed that Saturday by pouring in 32 points – his third 30-point game this season – with six boards and three more steals.
