DURHAM, N.C. – Duke forward Zion Williamson is a finalist for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Karl Malone Award, recognizing the top power forward in college basketball.
Williamson is second in the ACC in scoring with 22.0 points per game, and is the nation’s only player averaging 20.0+ points and shooting .650+ from the field. The four-time ACC Freshman of the Week leads the ACC and is second nationally in field goal percentage (.682), and also leads the ACC in steals (2.2). Williamson is the nation’s fourth-leading freshman scorer, and is third in the ACC in rebounding (9.
